Ultra-Purified Filtration Systems

There are many different water treatment technologies that address different water quality needs. Our most popular system, provides Everpure's precoat process to better protect against contaminants.

Precoat filtration reduces off-tastes and odors and removes 99.99% of all particles as small as ½ micron in size. This patented technology offers the largest filtering surface area, a long filter life, and protection against undetectable failures such as channeling and dumping.

Our top of the line coolers provide a combination of the everpure precoat with either “UV” disinfections or “Direct Chill” with carbon Block.

Coolers
Our coolers are retro-fitted with state of the art dispensing faucets that are manufactured with an antimicrobial silver- based compound that inhibits growth offering protection from microbes, algae, bacteria, yeasts and molds. Our cooler is lead-free and all materials are approved by the FDA and meet NSF International standards.

    Advantages of the Interpure System:

  • Auto tank sanitization thru Ultra-violet Disinfection
  • Multi-stage Filtration
  • bioProtection for external bacteria inhibition
  • Pure-touch Dispensing System
  • High Capacity & Maximum dispense area for large containers
  • UV change indicator light

Water Filtration with Everpure Precoat Filter

  • Inhibits common lime-scale formation.
  • Takes out oxidized, precipitated iron, manganese, aluminum, and sulfide, asbestos fibers and parasitic protozoan cysts, chlorine, dirt, rust, turbidity, tastes & odors.
  • Meets Federal Health and Safety code for filtering organic contaminants such as Bromodichloromithane, Dibromodichloromentane, and other Triholomethanes.
  • Reduces many toxic chemicals like Pesticides, Fungicides, and PCB's.

Ultra-Purified Filtration Systems

Carbon, Carbon Block, Lead Removal Filtration System

Solid Carbon Block Drinking Water Systems have combined the incredible adsorption capability of carbon, with the ability of a solid block of material to selectively strain out particles from water that is forced through it. Coldstream Filtration Systems combine Carbon Block and activated carbon to create the type of filter that will remove the widest range of possible contaminants in the drinking water: By micro- straining the water, the consumer is assured that only the cleanest, clearest water is delivered to the point-of-use.

Activated carbon bonds to thousands of chemicals. In fact, carbon will bond to most chemicals known! When water is forced through the solid carbon block, it is forced to slow down and increase the contact time with the carbon, allowing the carbon bonding to take place to remove the chemical pollutants like toxins, pesticides, Herbicides, THM's, chlorine, bad tastes, odors, etc.

Heavy metals like lead do not bond to the carbon, but are strained out by the pore size of the block. Basically, it's like trying to put a basketball through a hole the size of a ping pong ball.

Because of the density of the solid carbon block & our Annual Silver Service Program, there is no room or time for bacteria to grow, so this type of filter does not become a “Bacteria incubator”.

Our top line coolers also have the direct chill feature, which eliminates the possibility of bacteria building up in the holding tank.

Knowledge
We are uniquely qualified. Our scientific knowledge of water, water treatment systems, Midwest water quality, and equipment performance enables us to provide what is right for you.

Reliability
We customize & maintain our systems to your needs. Which means that we stand behind our water quality products so that you can count on your water being right, and ready, when you are.

Service
We're right where you need us. Local and available for routine maintenance, as well as 24/7 for emergency situations.

Price
The other factor. Our ultimate motive is for the water to be its purest & taste its very best. We offer a variety of water treatment options to satisfy the target price point. In addition, we give you the peace of mind knowing you are drinking the very best.

We've compiled information on some of the contaminants that may be found in water. This doesn't mean that these contaminants are necessarily in your water.*

2,4-D
An herbicide that can cause kidney, liver, and adrenal gland damage

Asbestos
A group of six different fibrous minerals formerly used as fireproof insulation material that can cause certain types of cancer and increase the risk of developing benign intestinal polyps

Atrazine
A photosynthesis-inhibiting herbicide often used to kill weeds and quack grass that can affect the cardiovascular and reproductive systems

Benzene
A colorless and flammable toxic liquid used in organic synthesis, as a solvent, and as a motor fuel. Exposure to benzene can increase the risk of cancer and lead to anemia and a decrease in blood platelets.

Carbon tetrachloride
A toxic liquid that is used as a solvent and refrigerant. Exposure can lead to liver problems and an increased risk of cancer.

Chlordane
A highly chlorinated liquid insecticide that can damage the liver and nervous system

Chlorine
A halogen element used as a bleach, oxidizing agent, and disinfectant in water purification. Can cause eye and nose irritation and stomach discomfort.

Copper
A metallic element. Exposure to copper can cause gastrointestinal distress and liver or kidney damage.

Cryptosporidium
A microbiological cyst, or parasite, found in lakes and rivers that can infect humans and cause gastrointestinal illness

Giardia
A microbiological cyst, or parasite, found in lakes and rivers that can infect humans and cause gastrointestinal illness

Lead
A natural metal used in pipes, cable sheaths, batteries, solder, and radioactivity shields. Children who are exposed to lead may have delayed physical or mental development and minor attention span deficits and learning disabilities. Exposed adults may experience kidney problems and high blood pressure.

Lindane
A slowly biodegrading insecticide used on cattle, lumber, and gardens that can damage the liver and kidneys

Mercury
A poisonous metallic element—liquid at ordinary temperatures—that is used in scientific instruments and can cause kidney or nervous system disorders

MTBE (Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether)
A member of a group of chemicals commonly known as fuel oxygenates used in gasoline throughout the United States to reduce carbon monoxide emissions and ozone levels. Also used to dissolve gallstones, MTBE is made from blending chemicals such as isobutylene and methanol and can cause gastrointestinal irritation and liver, kidney, and nervous system damage.

Total trihalomethanes (TTHMs)
A sum of the concentration of trihalomethane compounds, a chemical by-product of drinking water disinfection that can cause liver, kidney, or central nervous system problems and increase the risk for cancer

Toxaphene
An insecticide known to increase the risk for cancer that is a complex mixture of chlorinated compounds. Used on cattle and cotton, exposure to the insecticide can cause kidney, liver, and thyroid problems.

Trichloroethene (also known as trichloroethylene) (TCE)
A toxic volatile organic compound often used as a solvent in dry—cleaning and for the removal of grease from metal that can increase the risk of cancer and cause liver problems

Turbidity
A measure of the cloudiness of water, including clay, silt, organic and inorganic matter, algae, and microorganisms. High turbidity can cause disinfectants to become ineffective.
